How you pay, what appears on your statement, and which charges are ours versus your bank’s.

Last updated 25 August 2026.

What we accept

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal.

What appears on your statement

Your card or bank statement will show TEESTORYHOUSE.

We list this because an unfamiliar name on a statement is the single most common reason people dispute a charge they actually made. If you see that descriptor, it is us.

When you are charged

Payment is taken in full when you place the order. We do not store your card details — they are handled by our payment processor, and we never see the full number.

Currency and extra charges

All prices on this site are in US dollars. The total shown at checkout is the total you pay us: it includes any applicable taxes and shipping, with nothing added afterwards.

If your card is issued outside the United States, your bank may add a foreign transaction or currency conversion fee. Those charges are set by your bank, not by us, and we never receive them.

Import duties

International orders may attract import duties or taxes charged by your own country when the parcel arrives. These are set by your customs authority and are payable by you. We cannot calculate or pre-pay them.

Failed payments

If a payment is declined, no order is created and nothing is charged. Any “pending” amount you see is an authorisation hold that your bank releases on its own, usually within a few business days.
